ATEC X is a fully virtual congress for deep-tech startups taking place October 29th and 30th.
The first ATEC congress was held in 2010. So for our 10th anniversary we are proud to present the most outstanding speaker line-up and exciting sessions we’ve ever had.
We (RWTH Aachen Innovation & digitalHUB Aachen) are hosting atec x on October 29-30, 2020, a digital congress for deep-tech startups(https://www.atec-x.de/), and are currently inviting ventures to participate in our two-round startup tournament. The competition is a great opportunity to present your startup in front of 1,000+ international participants of the atec x as well as Europe’s most successful investors. In addition, there are numerous prizes for all participants and winners of the competition. Please, just find a quick introduction to the concept below and a detailed teaser attached.
WHAT?
We host a two-round startup tournament for leading tech ventures culminating in a final remote competition on the 2nd day of atec x.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Startups which are part of the RWTH, WHU or xdeck network are eligible to participate in the competition. You don't belong to one of the three hubs? No problem - Just apply for the wildcard bracket!
COMPETITION PROCEDURE
After application closing the 4 most promising startups per bracket (RWTH, WHU, xdeck & Wildcard) are allowed to participate in the semifinals and will be featured on atec x’s Instagram channel. During the semifinals on day 1 of atec x the pitches will be streamed and afterwards evaluated by event participants, who will vote a winner per bracket. The 4 finalists will pitch live on stream on day 2 of atec x followed by a short Q&A by a jury of top VCs (Holtzbrinck Ventures, Global Founders Capital & Speedinvest).
PRICES
We offer all applicants the atec x goodie box and feature all 16 semifinalist on our Social Media accounts.
The 4 finalists will be rewarded with SALZEN & pinqponq backpacks and the winner will receive a price equal to € 4.000.
HOW TO APPLY?
First, get your free ticket to the conference via https://hopin.to/events/atec-x-2020. Then, upload a 60-90 sec (elevator) pitch video (e.g. to WeTransfer) and share us the link in an email containing some additional information about your hub & city you are based in. There are no further guidelines for the video - feel free to be creative and try to highlight all relevant information. The preferred language of the video is English, if you are going to upload a video in German language, please add English subtitles for our international audience.
