The topic for our cross-border Startup Night is "Next-Gen Technologies". We have two special guests from both sides of the border. The event will be held in English language.
Special guests this time:
MARC SANDELOWSKY is director of Space53 (https://www.space53.eu),
a drone test center in Twente. Marc has a clear opinion on the further
development of the drone industry. Marc foresees drones becoming as
commonplace in the coming years as delivery trucks are on the roads now.
As eyes, ears and noses in the sky, but also as a means of
transportation and a physical tool.
OLIVER ESTER from Westphalia DataLab (https://www.westphalia-datalab.com/)
is an expert in the field of artificial intelligence in the health
sector. In this talk, he explains the use of algorithms to detect eye
diseases. More general, Oliver will reason on future oppertunities in
disease diagnosis using digital health technologies. Is there a chance
for eternal life?
Of course, there will also be startup pitches
from young, upcoming startups from North-Rhine Westphalia and the

are an after-work event series for the startup scene from the entire
Ruhr area. Meanwhile, the panthers have expanded their territory and
have regularly been poaching in Münsterland. This event offers you
startup know-how as well as uncensored experience reports on the really
crucial topics of the startup industry. Listen to pitches of startups
and growupsor use the open mic to address your own ideas and current
topics. Unfortunately, in times of Covid-19 there can be no relaxed
get-together at the bar with shallow tunes. Instead, we will meet online
in a Zoom session including an exciting round of "Zoom Roulette".
